Sorry I forgot to include this in my post a min ago but I remembered 2 more questions.#1 how long will I be able to keep a Tenn studd 50/50 mix and have it still be good? It is already on its way here but my jars are not colonized.and ques # 2 any advice how on earth to get my LC out of the jar without it all clumping up and clogging the syringe. It seems no matter how much I shake the stuff it is just too thick.I even tried removing the needle last time and was still having problems

Use marbles in your lc jars, or glass shards, or a stirr bar.
You might want to get larger size needles also.

6 mo? Thanks for setting my mind at ease Roadkill. If it takes me 6 months to colonize some jars of birdseed,I think I should do myself in.Ha ha.Any idea where I may find larger needles.I was looking for just empty syringes and all I can find are the skinny little insulin ones and those are sure gonna be useless.(although the face the chick made at the pharmacy counter was priceless when I pulled out an empty spore syringe and asked if they had them)I would like to find larger gage and longer ones to if possible seeing as I cant find any to reach into the bottom of my jars?
