Questions about peyote cactus
    #5785044 - 06/23/06 09:03 PM (17 years, 7 months ago)

Is it possible to get peyote cactus in Canada? I have never reasearched if it's legal or not. My friend said he bought it off some guys in Mexico and said it was nice, but a little nausiating. He said it was like acid, but felt better and less intense. Does the cactus or however you grow it ship to canada?

--------------------
I believe with the advent of acid we discovered new way to think and it had to
do with piecing together new thoughts of mind. Why is it that people think it's
so evil? What is it about it that there is scares people so deeply? Because
they are afraid that there is more to reality than they have ever confronted.
That there are doors that they're afraid to go in and they don't want us to go
in there either because if we go in, there we might learn something that they
don't know. And that makes us a little out of their control.

I heard that eating the route is what people do sometimes...

It is perfectly legal in canada, get yourself some seeds and enjoy your garden for the next decade. Its a very nice and very rare cactus that should not be eaten anymore, Mabey once the natural habitat is restored but with the way things are going it will never be legal again.

And Above All else Do Not eat the root. It is what will allow the plant ot continue growing. Even in traditional native culture most would never harvest teh root, but that seems to be a forgoten practice.

I could trade some Trichocereus seeds of very high quality, im located in central saskatchewan.

If the peyote is cultivated, there should be no reason why it isn't consumed. With grafting, one can grow peyote quickly, and rapidly multiply his/her stock to a sustainable level.

You can't grow peyote quickly, its just a lot quicker than regular peyote. It is an endangered plant species though, and I see eating peyote as the same as eating a tiger. Just cause you raise a tiger doesn't change the fact thats its kind of fucked up eating something so rare. Than again its a stupid cactus, so it really doesn't matter. All up to your personal preference. If you ask me, it would be quicker to goto school for organic chemistry for 2 semesters and learn how to synthesize it.

there is a huge diffrence between eating a cultivated peyote and eating a tiger. its an endangered plant in the wild only, there is tons of seeds and cultivated peyotes availble in the world. and you can synthesize mescaline but there are around 50-60 other alkaloids in peyote that makes it diffrent than pure mescaline or other trichocereus species.

If we could breed tigers like cattle, I'd be all for giving tiger tots a try.

I think at the moment their are more tigers being bred for private ownership in peoples houses than in the wild. You can buy tigers online in the US, I was watching something about in on National Geographic or the Animal Planet. I really don't care either way, tigers are hardcore and cacti arean't. I bet a tiger would kick the shit out of peyote in a fight.

But, would a tiger be as strong as it is today in 5000 years after being stored in a cave.

I don't think so.

who gives a shit about animals..except for me  :hehehe: tigers are awesome and who ever said tiger toters arte stupid and this is a forum about drugs no? anyways peyotte is endangered and i agree with everyone else it shouldnt be consummed unless you grow your own . and the tiger would eat all them peyottes to only die 5000 years before its time of extinction just like the peyotte would knock the tigers ass into insanity then eating kids for breakfast  :runaway: then a bowl of spaghetti for super....topped of with mushrooms and -snip!-

pee in iss is what the nurse said to Raheem before he took the drug test. On a side note, we all know that tiger might not last for 5000 years, but peyote grows on sand, sand is made of rocks, rocks last longer than meat, which tigers live off of. Compare the decay of a dead person (you can goto the funeral home for this experiment) and put a rock next to the body. Write down any observations, and as soon as the body starts to decay write an X. The rest of the experiment might take place a little further away from the funeral home. As soon as the body is buried, dig em up. Observe until police arrive (note: keep rock in pocket, you will see why a little later. While in the cop car explain the experiment and they should release you right away, if they do not, don't worry you are right, they are wrong. Stand up for your rights and call ACLU, they are violating your 1st amendment to dig up corpses and observe them, many people do not realize this is part of the first amendment, so you will need to get the unedited one. More then likely, you are know in jail, or some type of hospital. To continue the experiment, cut your hand off and hide it in your pocket. Observe until they take it away from you. After all this, look at the sand, its still in tact. From this experiment, you will conclude that peyote CHEATED THE FUCKING TIGER. This lesson might cost you a lot of time and money, but luckily for you, I perfected a shorter verison in which you could just put semen on the table next to a rock, and watch to see who will take over the world first. On a side note, X-Men 3 blew.

Looks like you all haven't found the joys of the san pedro cactus. I'll give you a hint. It's larger, cheaper, faster growing, and contains mescaline.

oh. it's also legal to cultivate in the USA.

Yeah, peyote makes me feel more anxious and sick to my stomache. SP is the way to go. Fewer of the harsh alkaloids.
