Fruiting Chamber Humidity Problems

I recently cased 5 regular BRF/Verm PF cakesand stuck them into my fruiting chamber which is humidified by a Cool Mist Wick Humidifier. Yes yes I know the wick type isn't recommended but I have read about people having no problems with this type of humidifier by just adding H2O2 to the water. I've got a large peice of spa tubing going into the FC with no leaks, and only two small (3/4" wide tops) holes filled with polyfill near the bottom of the tub. The humidity isn't getting high enough because my casing keeps drying out, and I'm starting to get nervous the about the mushies underneath.
I've been misting as often as I can, with the Humidifier running 24/7 on high with nearly no condensation and the casing becoming much too dry IMO.
If anyone else has experience with the wick type of Humidifier or would like to bestow some knowledge, please enlighten me.
Should I just go to straight perlite in the bottom of my tub?
I just dont wanna fuck my shrooms up!!!

Put that humidifier on a timer and adjust the on/off intervals until you can maintain the desired humidity. Adding some damp perlite to your fruiting chamber will help as well.

It will do no good. A wick type humidifier can't take you above 70% which is nowhere near humid enough for cakes. Line the bottom of your terrarium with 2" of damp but not wet perlite, and watch your humidity go to 99%. RR

I increased my humidity significantly by improving the seal of my FC. Control the size of all possible exhaust points untill you have positive pressure. Then all you can do is to keep spraying the walls a few times a day. Lastly, go with perlite if none of this works.

Im going to try the damp perlite at the bottom now. I know for sure everything is sealed on this chamber i spent about an hour yesterday doing that.
