Odd, considering that the book was published before the Beatles even formed a group. I call shenanigans.

On that note, has anyone read those? I read 10 of them one week when I was trapped at my Grandma's house in TN during the worst ice storm of the last 50 years. I read alot of books, and those really are utter pieces of shit. I dont see how Jesus-Freaks can criticize Dan Brown for being a terrible writer, which he is, but lap up this left behind stuff like a dying dog in the desert.
I can see how they could turn it into a video game, though. I bet if Rockstar or someone did it, it would be great. But with some Jesus-Freak company, it will definately suck.

I can imagine a terminator 2-type action scene where you have two nuns sitting on a big pile of explosives, the evil ones closing in, and the nuns looking eachother deep in the eyes saying "Amen." and pressing the detonator button
Seriously, this shows you how fundamentalism is independent of the religion which is preyed on. It is sad that a company thinks theyu can make money by selling a game of christians killing unbelievers - to christians!
Unbelievably sad. Its a travesty of christianity but given the fundamentalist level in US christians it might even sell big too.

It is funny to see this actually. I would understand just converting, but now they are gonna say that killing is okay in gods eyes so long if the person is not christian. Wow.... that's pretty fucked up

I dont see how this is any worse than GTA. I like GTA, but of course the message of killing hookers etc. is bad, but its still a fun game. I think thats the point you are all missing, this is a just a game and america is (supposed to be) a free country.
I wont buy it, but Im not gonna be like some stuffy politician that wants games banned due to content.

The funny thing about this game is that the well-known fundamentalist retard Jack Thompson has puclicly decried the game.
Even the braindead extremists have issues with the game.

GTA has no agenda. This game has one. The difference is pretty basic.
