Movies stick with you...

Perhaps it's just me, but I think more clearly after seeing a movie I've never seen before.
Part of it sort of sticks with me. The theme of the film clings to my thoughts, and I tend to think about it afterwards.
It's a nice occurence, really. The clarity is a nice respite from the usual havoc.
For instance, I just watched A.I. again for the first time since it came out. Beautiful film, and it ends on a peaceful note... the peacefullness stuck with me, really calmed my nerves.
I always thought that tendency of films to leave a lasting impression in my thoughts was really awesome, a blessing sort of.
Does this happen to anyone else?

I feel like a waste of life after I see a WWII movie. i.e. Saving Private Ryan, The Great Raid. Because these guys were fighting and dying for a great cause and the whole country was backing these guys up. What do I do? Smoke weed and jack off...I suck at life.

yah, it happens to me with certain movies ive seen a hundred times. When it's done right there are scenes that can absolutely just haunt you for the rest of your life.
I just watched bicentenial man not to long ago and i've been pondering some stuff about it ever since. It wasn't the greatest movie, but there were some really cool ideas in it.

yeah, i find it affects me even more so if i see a movie at a nice theatre, and IMAX films are just damn amazing. sometimes a lecture or class at school will stick with me for a while if i find it interesting. tonight was one of those nights.

Didn't see Nacho Libre, but I did see Cars. Now that, is a great movie. I wish I could live in that neighborhood, it'd be awesome.
