Looks like lots of fun.
Elijah's a lucky kid. He's so adorable.

Not a Radiohead fan?

I love Radiohead, but we had to sacrifice some bands so that we could take turns with Elijah, in the Rv, because he's too small to be out in that heat and sun. Danksis went and saw day shows and I usually caught the late night stuff. We took Elijah out on Sunday evening, because it was cloudy and cooled off a little. It was still abit too dusty for him, but he was okay. He just sneezed a few times. He loved it! He saw Phil and Friends, Sonic Youth and Steve Earle(sp).

Back on topic, though, I listened to alot of the show, but we were walking around looking for pretties. There was alot of really great glass pieces there, this year. I almost spent too much money, but I managed to keep myself from buying EVERYTHING that I saw.

Are you guys going to the Ohio gathering this weekend?

Nah. I wish I could go, but there's no way I can get off work. Besides, I'm out of cash and need to do some work around the house. Too much shit to do, these days, and not enough time to do them.

It's kinda random, but the guy that was camped in the RV next to us works security at Nelson Ledges and he knows alot of Shroomery people and thinks really highly of the group, as a whole. He was super chill and said that they actually give the Shroomery people a little more slack, because of what the site is about. We talked alot and I really hope I see that guy again. Hopefully at the Ledges!!

Yeah, from the songs I've heard Radiohead is pretty bad live.

I guess it depends what night you catch them on, their 1997 Glastonbury performance was voted the best UK gig ever in a 2004 Q Magazine poll.

obviously readers of Q magazine forgot that zeppelin played at earl's court in London for 5 days almost consecutively in 1975.
not to mention tons of other UK shows. and that's just zeppelin. what about pink floyd? there's many other that have blown radiohead out of the water, I'm sure, but zeppelin's gigs at earl's court are infamous, and some of their best ever, and I don't even know how many gigs floyd played in the UK.

For the record, the Pink Floyd Wall show at Earls Court in 1980 was #10 and Led Zeppelin at Earls Court in 1975 was #78. The full list is at http://www.rocklistmusic.co.uk/qcollection.htm#100%20Greatest%20Gigs.

The list is flawed for any number of obvious reasons and individual people are obviously going to disagree with it. My point was that if Radiohead are "pretty bad live", they wouldn't be getting anywhere near the list never mind heading it.

Yeah, he's growing so fast! We are having to step up our cleaning efforts, too. We have always had trouble with cluttering and we need to break ourselves of that habit. This whole experience has made us rethink alot of aspects of our lives and change things that needed changing anyway. Thanks for the nice comment, though.

Hey, blissed, thanks for sharing those wonderful pictures. Sounds like you had an awesome time! I personally had a great time too. Would you mind posting some pics of the glass you picked up?

On a side note the chick in the green shirt sitting in your RV is pretty cute. :yesnod:

i'd love to think you are talkin about me but i know you aren't... but i am wearing a green shirt too... so i can always dream that i'm cute. =)

ToolTroll : he broke the pipe =( it is no longer with us =(

we had a good time. i got to see very little music. i did get to see steel pulse, damian marley, and phil and friends. i also got to see a tiny bit of sonic youth,  steve earle, and matisya-howeveryouspellit. elijah is a handful and it was too hot for him to be out much. i'm the dairy bar so therefore i have to be around a lot.
on the other hand, we didn't have fun getting home. 2 separate times we blew tires. horrible. the 2nd time was much better than the 1st i must say. we broke down in the right place and someone who knew blissed's uncle helped us out.
