Do cold temps hurt MJ?
    #5778955 - 06/22/06 12:31 AM (17 years, 7 months ago)

reason im asking is because around October it can get to below 40, and was wondering if that could freeze the plant? or do outdoor plants typically harvest before then?

edit: sorry to ask this question here this is the only forum i thought this question would fit since i couldnt find a MJ forum on here...

Haha, it's been well below 40* multiple times up here. All it does is stunt them for a bit, they should take right off again once the weather warms up. Seeing how you are talking near the end of the year, I would just say go ahead and harvest before it gets that cold, or right as it does.

Not sure, bu as long as it doesn't frost, you should be alright. I tmay weaken your harvest, but it will bring an earlier payoff, although it will be significantly smaller. It's only midJune and I have an Early Misty in full flowerage.
