What happened to him? Hasn't posted since the beginning of May...

Ya, I've been wondering that myself. Though I disagree with him on almost everything, I miss having his perspective in this forum

By the way! I can't believe you used that image as your sig, I think the very day you put that up I felt the urge to put the new Umphrey's McGee cover art into my sig:

A bunch of men crawling around like sheep and with a title like "Safety in Numbers", it's beautiful. Made me think alot on acid.

What, Mr. Musterion seems to have vanished? I do that from time to time, maybe he's just strapped for cash to pay his internet bill these days?

The last I was aware of his situation, he was half-way to being the current CEO of the retail industry known as Lowe's. I surmise that his head is so immersed in numbers that he's not getting enough sleep, but is making much more money than any of us.

I propose that we assemble an appropriate alter with which we can honor his spirit, the nature of an amazing man.

Also, his empire is an impressive one, but nothing compared to the one in which I roam.

Impressive! I discovered the other week that their tarps are indeed of quality.

I'll be sure to place an image of Lowes on my puja table

"Also, his empire is an impressive one, but nothing compared to the one in which I roam."

So not the cash-flow-problems thing then, eh?  Well, if he can't take the time from running a successful retail giant to post on the philosophy messageboard of a entheogenophiles' site, I would say the price has been too high! :shake: :cuckoo: :nonono:

Geez, I'm hungry... ah, rice.  The other white not-meat.:cryariver: :cryariver:

Naturally, he is in the corporate world. I should have guessed from all his tight assed posts. You know it kinda makes sense.

I feel as though I may have slightly exaggerated the issue in my acid-immersed state of mind that I was in earlier.

The reference to Lowe's was a personal joke, in case he ever comes acrossed this thread. Honestly, I have absolutely no clue as to his current situation, and why that situation does not involve frequenting this forum.

I'm not able to assume the nature of your specific comment, but I choose to address it as one that was serious. Your commentary has absolutely no relevance, as Skorpivo is not, to the best of my knowledge, in the "corporate world". Perhaps retail, but the difference between retail and the corporation that manages such retail is distinct.

Negativity. C'mon I would expect someone who just tripped on acid to be able to laugh, not just at someone else but at yourself too. Should I laugh at you so we can be even or can we get off of this cruel wheel you like to keep going?

Honestly I don't see you laugh much unless it is at another person in a put down sort of way.

That's one of the main things I dislike about online communication: normal conversational cues and expressions are missing. So you can never tell when something is sarcastic or funny or angry or sad or whatever.

Well, emoticons usually help, but then, if you use them, suddenly you are negative and egotistical...

But, then, if you don't use them, and other people can't tell you are joking, suddenly they don't have a sense of humor for not knowing you are joking... But, then, if you make your own joke in the spirit of the sharing of humor, and you do express that you are laughing, suddenly you are being negative and laughing at others....

I feel sorry for you. I'd suggest renting some Bill Hicks dvds, perhaps buying some marijuana... I think you might get your sense of humor back in no time, and then you won't be someone who takes themselves too seriously...

I don't see how this turns from me making a funny comment into a flat out hate rain. Thanks fellow.

I apologize that reality has unfolded in such a manner that you interpret hate. You really don't have to ruin your experience of life like that, especially when other individuals have not expressed, implied, or experienced hate in such interaction. I understand that you might have led a troubled life that makes your mind produce the experience of hate, but it is possible to let it all go and breathe fully once again.

Read up on Buddhism, cease your suffering.

I guess hate was a little strong. Let me just leave it at non positive vibes.

Trying to get through to you with strong language beause you are a shifty little guy.

"It was a joke, but I guess your sense of humor is nil."

"Negativity. C'mon I would expect someone who just tripped on acid to be able to laugh, not just at someone else but at yourself too. Should I laugh at you so we can be even or can we get off of this cruel wheel you like to keep going?

Honestly I don't see you laugh much unless it is at another person in a put down sort of way."

"Some people takes themselves way too seriously."

"I don't see how this turns from me making a funny comment into a flat out hate rain."

"you are a shifty little guy."

During this entire exchange, you were highly negative & fireworks_god was joking with you and asking you not to make assumptions about his character.  Perhaps you are seeing only what you want to see?

Any vibe you feel originates with you alone. Another person cannot make you feel anything. You are 100% responsible for how you feel. This is called "taking responsibility".

"you are a shifty little guy"

fireworks_god, are you little? Are you shifty? I am interested to know.

In actuality, I am about 6 ft tall and around 175 lbs... as far as being shifty, I would require further clarification as to exactly what is being implied by that word.

If it is in the sense that I am resourceful and and able to accomplish what's necessary, then, definitely, I'm shifty. :smirk:

My perspective on life distinctively changed yesterday, so perhaps I am shifty in that I frequently change direction, as the result of exposing myself to direct perception of reality... attributing further depths of awareness.

Honestly, though, I'm not sure why the disruption of this thread was necessary in the first place, let alone dwelling upon it.

My perspective on life distinctively changed yesterday

In what way?
