Myco Bag question

Hello.

My friend has his myco bags inoculating. Today he noticed some very exciting silver dollar sized spots of mycelium visible on the sides of the bags. They are in scattered random places(i guess he did a good job shaking the bags).

My question is, should he mix the substrate again so the mycelium touches different parts of the substrates? Is this a good idea or will it damage the mycelium network? And will this speed up the colinization?

any feedback would by appreciated.

You never mentioned the strain or how long they have been incubating........Let the mycelium get a good hold just a few spots is not enough yet.....Once mycelium has a good hold then shake the bag....Baby usually waits, depending on how fast they are colonizing, 5-6 days before shaking the first time........
