fruiting chamber question

When I first perlite into my grow chamber, the humidity got so high that the Plexiglas on the lid had condensation all over it. Over the past few days, the Plexiglas has gotten more and more transparent, and now there isn't any condensation on it all, even though the perlite is still moist. Do you think it is less humid now, or the same humidity and something happened to the Plexiglas?
I can post some pics of what it looks like if anyone is interested.

Condensation doesn't = humidity. Get a hygrometer if you're not sure.

condensation has just about nothing to do with humidity. no way of knowing if your humidity has changed by looking at it, you need to measure it if you want to know. condensation happens when there's a temperature difference... if the inside of your fc is just the slightest bit warmer than the outside, voila, condensation. if your plexiglass was warmed up by something from the outside (perhaps a light pointing at it?) water would no longer condense on it.

I have a temp/ humidity gauge that has read 95% humidity the whole time, but its a piece of crap. Where can I buy a good hygrometer, or do you know of a brand name that I can search for on ebay or something?

I tried using two air pumps with stones, and I seem to be getting better results with the perlite.
