Your concentration isn't as bad as I thought it was. That will definitely not hinder growth. It will be hard to suck up into a syringe unless you have a fat diameter needle. This is also why I suggest that you use a jar that isn't as deep because it will be hard to get the tip of the needle all the way down to the bottom without submerging the whole syringe into the solution.
I can't tell for sure whether you have growth, but you definitely don't have contamination. Those other pix with the clear solution are exactly what I was trying to describe.

I use a hydrometer, found at any brew supply store, and on-line
I think: www.brewguys.com , etc. homebrew supplies on google advanced...
Alot of wine shops carry home beer-making kits and supplies...
anyway I am just running a 7-day limit at about 85 F.........
now have a few five gallon carboys going at it...agitation with air pumps...
also using h2o2 more and more.....still do not how much is enough or too much..
into the broth......I know....by the books..

thanx...for the tested recipe..I try it out on the next mix....I just used honey as a test....ok, but dropping it for now...this morning have mixed..
1 TBS / 24 oz water...of dextrose, and 1 ts of light malt.....pinch of substrates sampling to aclimate upline...
but I do more of this on the second and third stepups and then clone the end results, if good.
working on medicinals and cubie is under study for cluster headaches......and more if ever made public.
I know out of thread, give me hell, I am working most with a fungi which converts
cellulose.....to cellulase.....and into ethanol products, fuels, err, solvents, etc..
Tricoderma viride.......will eat anything wood, paper, cloth, lstraw, weeds, ==== bio-fuels..
was a US Military reseach project for many years, probably still is on a back burner some where
waiting until the oil markets are replaced, little or lot........anyway....bla..bla..
.later I will keep informed as I am
able...don't get outta the fields and lab much..........
