I got a sweet XM radio (Samsung Helix w/1 gig MP3 player) for my birthday the other day and activated it today. Man, there is a jam band station that has rocked my ass all day!!!!
Worth every fucking penny!!! Jammin' some live Phish on the radio as I write this!!

whats the benefit of it but in todays market you can burn 1000 CDs for the
price of the radio and as many more for the years subscription, and you dont have
to deal with areas that have no reception

I have over 600g of MP3, but it's not enuff,

I have never had a dead spot, unless your under ground,

I drove to Chicago to SF it worked the whole way,

well, I don't subscribe to it.. but I know people that do.. and they seem to be happy enough with it. better than the regular radio by a long shot.. and yeah you can carry around 1000s of CDs but who wants to
