My dreams are making me look coo coo

I have dreams of doing the normal things I do in my day. Go to work, shop, ride my bike, etc. I have been mixing up what happens in my dreams with what is actually happening in my day.
For example; I will have a dream that a friend has called to switch the day of our plans (again, the dream is a normal daily event), but when I wake up I continue on with my day thinking that it actually happened. I will talk to my friend, and then realize it did not.
This happens to me all the time. I think I have had conversations with people that never happened, I had just dreamt them. I will be angry at someone for a fight we had that never actually happened.
I know this probably sounds a little nutter but it is what it is.
I am worried that this is going to get worse. Has anyone else ever had this happen to them or have heard of it? What can I do? Thanks Folks.

remind yourself that you could be dreaming right now, so that when you are dreaming, which might be right now, you can have more interesting dreams that are more easily separable from reality!

Yeah I've been thruough that faze. Take it easy and question your memory before you ask or blame somebody. It will Fade away on it's own. Mine did. So just relax, the one which plays the biggest tricks on us our own mind.

Normally I can't recall my dreams at all, but for some reason over the last couple of nights I've been having the most intense dreams in which I'm fully aware. And once the dream peaks in intensity, as a reaction, I wake up ... and the confusion is incredible. I can't distinguish between reality or the dream.
After waking up in the middle of last night I was completely disorientated to find myself in bed because I'd been walking down this strange corridor.
I've also been having dreams where I wake up, or at least think I do, and when I go back to sleep continue the same dream. That happen to anybody else?

All the time. I will wake up to use the washroom, or because the dream was so wild it just wakes me up and then when I fall back asleep I fall into the same dream I was in before. I too will wake up very confused some mornings. It usually takes a few minutes to shake it. I wont even always know why I am confused, but I will feel it.

I dont think your problem is uncommon. I have had those sort of dreams before where I find like a 100 dollars on the floor and I wake up in the morning freaking out looking for it. I would try adding some alcohol to your sleep for like 2 days and see if that changes your dreaming routine.

A couple of nights ago I had a dream my boss told me to come in at 9 instead of 7:30 because he wasn't leaving for work until then. (I am a nanny). I reset my alarm clock in the middle of the night for 8 thinking I did not have to go in till 9. Around 7:45 the next morning he called asking me where I was. Try explaining to your boss you dreamt he had called... yeah, I think he was weirded out a bit!

I feel disorientated some mornings too. That couple of seconds until, as you put it, *reality snaps* ... yeah some days they seem to last forever.
