Hi everybody. I am in the market for a digital scale and was wondering if this one would work well. Its only $20 and it says that it is accurate to .01 of a gram. So that would mean that i would get a readout of like 3.53 grams, for instance, right? And would this be a good buy?

One last question, if the scale says its accurate to 0.1 gram does that mean that it would read 3.5 grams? And if the scale is 0.01 accurate than it would read 3.53 grams?

Absolutely none of the Walmarts I've been in has a scale that weighs minute amounts like that, unless they have it in the back somewhere. But in the kitchen supplies, they just have scales for food. Seen between an ounce and maybe a gram was the lowest? Can't remember exactly.

try canadian tire man...usually they have some cheap one but im not sure if theyll read out 0.01...if so some ned to be calibrated every know and then cause they usually read a little less...unlessm you were in a situation of 3.57 garams you would get 3.5 or 3.6..this makes a big difference when your dealing with meth..

Yes, and I think that means it is between 3.52 and 3.54. That's the definition of the accuracy as far as I know.

Office depo or similar office supply stores usually have small weight digi scales for mail weighing. You can check those out.
Just be careful when ordering a scale, going cheap is not the best usually. When something says its accurate to .01, it may read out to x.xx but the accuracy of the last digit is usually questionable. If you are just needing a 0.1 scale then you really dont have much to worry about though.
