American recipes eh? Well I did come across one for a beer battered deep fried bacon double quarter pounder the other day. Unfortunately the site is down, the server probably needs a bypass.

Armenian food, eh??
CHEESE BERAG
INGRDIENTS:
Purchase fillo dough at your supermarket. 1/4 pound, or more, butter melted, or better yet rendered. You need 6 sheets plus 3 sheets of fillo dough the size of the pan you are using
FILLING: 1 1/2 lbs. Jack cheese, or ricotta, or Armenian (Feta) cheese. Mix or take your choice. Feta is the most authentic. I like to mix feta and jack cheese. 1/2 cup chopped Armenian or Italian parsley, Flat leafed 2 eggs [beaten well] 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon white pepper Mix the above ingredients for the filling
1.) Butter your cake pan well and lay in a sheet of fillo, and butter the top. 2.) Put on a layer of filling. 3.) Add another fillo and butter the top and add more filling. 4.) Do this until all six sheets of fillo are used and your filling is used up. 5.) You can now add the last three sheets of fillo making sure to butter each one.
Bake in a 450 degree oven for 20 minutes. Lowqer the heat to 300 degrees and bake another 20 minutes. The time is not as important as tshe color of your fillo dough. Make sure it is a golden brown. Take out the sou-berag and let cool for 5 minutes. Cut in diagonals or squares and serve warm.
YALANCHI(this recipe makes 80...so watch out)
•1 cup oil •6 cups onion, chopped •2 cups rice •1/2 cup parsley, chopped •1 cup water •1 cup tomato sauce •1 cup lemon juice •1 tablespoon salt •1/2 teaspoon black pepper •Dash cayenne •1 tablespoon dill •1 quart grape leaves (80-100) •1/2 teaspoon allspice, optional •1 cup lemon juice
PREPARATION: •In a 4-quart stainless steel roasting pan, saute onions in oil until clear. Stir often to prevent burning. •Add all ingredients except parsley and bring to a boil. Stir, turn heat low and cook, covered, about 15 minutes. Add parsley and stir. Let cool. •Rice mixture should be cooked the day before and allowed to cool •Rinse grape leaves and squeeze out water. Remove stem from leaf. •Lay each leaf flat dull side up. Place 1 teaspoon rice mixture on the leaf, fold sides over filling and roll leaf up.

Now that is some shit I would like to try....all of my experience with Mediterranean food comes from Italy. I used to have this Greek lasagna type thing at my friend's house when I ate over there....it was incredible. I don't know if that first thing you posted there is it or not, BUT I want to make it anyway. I love feta...
I don't know if i can find filo sheets tho
