Which country is next in line for the US to invade

Seriously though, my bet is on Iran and NATO will probably help if Iran doesn't comply with nuclear regulations.

Iran is too big. It will probably some small poor country like the invasions of Panama and Grenada in the '80s.

Probably Venezuela. There's plenty of oil there, and Hugo Chavez forming a Latin American alliance is a serious threat to US influence in the region.
The CIA has already sponsored a failed coup attempt there. (So much for supporting democratically elected regimes.)

The one good thing about the Iraq invasion is that it pulls vital resources away from the US sponsored dirty wars in South America giving that continent a chance to recover.

What do you mean by democratically elected? If they don't support the US then they arn't a democracy.

I actually think an invasion of Iran would be too expensive, but I can imagine a quick in and out strategy where they destroy nuclear and missile centers.

Also North-Korea is really pushing the US. They are about to test an ICBM with a range of 10.000km. And it's clear that they also want nukes. But invading that country is likely to cost a lot.

Venezuela is indeed also a likely target, but not in the form of invasion. More likely CIA operated regime change. Putting another evil US trained dictator in power.

Why We Fight is a good documentary that kind of handles the same subject. The profits and reasons of war. I made a post about it.

Invade with what army? We don't have enough troops to control Iraq, not to mention our 5 TRILLION dollar deficit. I think the real question is what country is going to invade the US. My bet is on China since they already own our debt. It won't be long before they call in their loan and take Alaska when we can't pay.

That video is real, it's from my favorite Aussie TV show called CNNNN the chaser. If you look closely in each instance, Australia is labeled as the country in context each time, whether it be France, Korea or Iran.

The guys on the show do a lot of stuff like that with the help of well geographically educated Americans!

Here's an explanation for why a good percentage of Americans would believe Australia was France or Iran.

WHERE IN THE WORLD
Among 18- to 24-year-old Americans given maps:

87 percent cannot find Iraq

83 percent cannot find Afghanistan

76 percent cannot find Saudi Arabia

70 percent cannot find New Jersey

49 percent cannot find New York

11 percent cannot find the United States

http://archives.cnn.com/2002/EDUCATION/11/20/geography.quiz/

That's from CNN not CNNNN.

Hahahaha, bunch of retards

But these kinds of numbers in less extreme values are also true for many other countries. Generally more than 50% of the general population in a given country is ignorant IME.

i actually would kind of like it to be IRAN

now before you jump and call me a racist, know that i am iranian, and the only reason i would like it to be iran that got invaded is that there MIGHT be the possibility of overthrowing khomeni's religious based regime and hopefully progress towards democracy. there would be a lot of casualties though
