to experiment or not to experiment

hey everyone i have recently been given the opportunity to experiment with cocaine and oxycodone (sp?) now before every rants about how this should be in ODD, let me mention that it is not questions about the DRUGS themselves but whether you guys recommend experimentation
i have a great respect for psychedelics and the things they have to offer and feel like i have matured a lot as a person and learned a lot about myself from their use (although usage has been very limited) i have never been really into the idea of "getting fucked up" and try to avoid alcohol as much as possible, i also like the Buddhist idea of not doing drugs which lead to loss of mindfulness (i.e escapist drugs)
the other side of me wants to experiment and experience new things and try all types of drugs at least once
what would you fellow shroomerites recommend ?
understand that cocaine and oxy will not be anything more than a "high" and stay away
or try to experiment and experience various drugs

Well, it's ultimately up to you, although it's generally a bad idea to mix coke and opiates. Do them seprerately would be my advice.

The oxy is probably worth a try.. done by itself though.
Trying coke could possibly be a bad idea. Depends on you... I know I should have never tired it. The more I did it, the more I wanted to do. It can lead to an addiction and to you wasting your money. The thing with coke is, once it wears off, you could end up spending the rest of the night trying to get more. That includes wasting all of your money on an expensive drug, that overall just isn't worth ti for the price.

In the circle of friends i used to hang out with when i was younger, that was the mentality. " I want to try everything atleast one, just for the experience "
(i.e cocaine, acid , shrooms, weed , duster, whippits, basically anything we could our hands on.. a few of them went on to heroin and crack :/)
But when you start delving into the world of highly addictive drugs like cocaine, that once starts turning into twice, three times and so on and so forth. its not a surefire thing, this addiction thing. its based upon the mentality and willpower of the user. In my eyes when you fully relinquesh control over to the drug, thats when it overpowers you. When do you relinquish control? When you start using just to get by. "Oh, ineed some to go to work, im tired.""oh i need some for this party to have fun"
You might say... Oh i wont let it get to that point. But the problem is we are human, we are pleasure driven. Coke makes you feel good, you want to feel good for longer, i'll just take another bumpsky ... tralala. then its another dub, another eightball. And once sucked in you have to be able to get control to get back out.
how well can you manage temptation? how in control of the pleasure driven beast are you? ( Its such an instinct thing, to do what feels good even if it may be bad )think about all these things before experimenting. It will in fact be JUST a high, it will just feel good. But i know how curiosity gets the better of us and we just want to know what its like.
Just make sure your strong enough to turn away once you find out.
IMO.
-------------------- No point in mentioning these bats, I thought. Poor bastard will see them soon enough "There's a uh, big machine in the sky, some kind of, I dunno, electric snake, coming straight at us." "Shoot it." "Not yet, I want to study its habits. "

In short, just assume you don't have the willpower to safely maintain a consistant use of habit forming drugs. If you do that, you might have a chance. The other big killer for addictions is availability; keep your access to the supply as limited as possible and never hesitate to ask for help.

Look around ODD if you're going to do coke for the tek to remove most cuts from your coke. No point snorting speed, novacaine, and whatever else kind of shit the dealers wanted to put in it.
