Amanita muscaria vs. Psilocybe cubensis

I have tried Psilocybe cubensis twice before and both times were amazing experiences. A friend of mine recently ordered 28 grams of Amanita muscaria online and I had a few questions about the difference if anyone here has tried both.
1. Do Amanita muscaria make you more sick to your stomach than Psilocybe cubensis?
2. About how much of Amanita muscaria are you supposed to take? I know that it can vary based on each person and the potency of the mushroom, but I know with Psilocybe cubensis a sixteenth of an ounce is general recommended for first time.
3. What are the differences in your experience between an Amanita muscaria trip and a Psilocybe cubensis trip?

1. per gram, no........but it takes many more grams.
2. 2 grams is pretty trippy when you smoke some pot with it. Even better when you smoke some amanitas with it. With amanitas 6 grams should be a good place to start. 10 grams is not always intense depending on where/when the mushroom was grown. It varies greatly.
3. You can get visuals from amanitas but they are very different from any hallucinogen I have ever used. The mental trip can be intense at higher doses and reminds me of dissociatives like DXM. It is NOTHING like cubes. Synesthesia is a common effect. Brightening of colors(maybe even some geometric patterning), and a drunken body high is common.
Many people just dont like them and again, they are in no way like cubes. Psi mushrooms are so very much more psychedelic than the strange trip you get from amanitas.

It's totally different. Muscaria causes more bad experiences than good, as far as the reports that I have seen anyway. Amanita muscaria is even the cause of some of the mushroom consumption hospital visits.

Amanita is disassociative, Psilocibes are not. I wouldn's say exactly poisoning about Amanitas.
In fact, some say that Soma/Haoma was a mixture of Amanita, Psilocibe and Syrian Rue. So you could try both mushrooms!

They're both mushrooms...but the effects are completely different and they are in no way a replacement for each other. You might as well say "Well I've tried some peyote, should I also try PCP?"

Would syrian rue really have a potentiating effect on amanitas? I ordered some of both, and if I could just take some syrian rue instead of drinking my piss, I'd definitely do that.

i found it really depends per person, as a teenager me nd a friend picked hundreds of Amanita muscarias and prepared them in almost every way on the internet, we ate, drank and smoked alot of um, he proceded to vomit violently which stunk my hole house of mushrooms, i however was fine with little effects, i would think of them as a enhancer rarther than a trip, i plan to try them this october with cubes to see if im right, however im sure my friend would say there nothing but poisen... maby there diffrent for everyone

i think your wrong i think we have a rare chance as westerners to have access to the herbs fungi and other things that our natives reveared and used, i think its important that people still involve themselves with our origins or we will move on so much that we will forget it.
