contaminated cakes?

NOTE: I've posted on the contamination board but as this may a timely matter (I don't know) the low levels of traffic on contamination boards have led to 0 replies so I thought someone here might have my answer.
original post:
Some of you may have seen my post a few days ago on the cultivation forum about my friends contaminated jars. There is not much mold or mycelium yet (jars are only 8 days old). However there is SOME mold and mycelium developed in each of the 4 jars. he gave me the cakes as I plan to give them an outdoor attempt. However I don't have a clue what I'm doing as far as outside contam cakes. This is where I need help. First, should I do Moe's outdoor tek with them or just make a small hole for each in old horse poo piles and lightly cover(or another suggestion if you have a better way)? Secondly, should i leave them in the jars until more colonization (they are housed in a separate building from MY indoor grow not in an incubator, the temperature is about 83 and humidity is about 70 % in the building) has taken effect or should i put the cakes in the ground now and hope that colonization occurs. I live if southwest Michigan and temperature lately has been low 70s - high 80s outdoors lately. Also how should i water, or shouldn't I. I DO have appropriate methods set up so I do not carry contams into the building with my indoor grow ( i love living on a farm many buildings has its perks) from the contaminated cakes. Any advice is greatly appreciated (more than you know) however do not reply with irrelevant information or if you are not sure of what you are talking about.
My concerns are...
If I leave cakes in the jar contamination will continue to spread whereas mother nature has ways of dealing with them.
There is not much growth on the cakes, either contamination or mycelium, yet jsut a very little. Could putting them in the ground too early just shock them or kill them.

Since this thread does discuss some cultivating aspects, in this case the survival of a contaminated cake outdoors, I will allow it to continue here.
