No external modification cool mist?

Can anyone recommend a no-drill or warranty voiding modification cool mist that can be converted? All I can find lately are companies marketing ultrasonics as cool mists (why don't the companies even know the difference), and the big fan ones, at both thrift stores and retail chains.

Thanks for the link but eBay banned me long ago, and it appears like that model has been discontinued. The New one has a heavy plastic gate attached to the exhaust.
Unless the V420 has a removeable grill cover also I'm not sure how you duck taped unless you have an older model too.

I just set the cool mist right on one of the shelves in the greenhouse. I went from a one to two month lifespan of the coolmists to over a year now on the same one, once I quit trying to run hoses. The hoses cause a very small amount of static pressure to build, which forces moisture into the bushings and motor itself, trashing both in a short time. RR

What one do you use, Roger? Could the high humidity cause the unit to short out or die in itself?

i have been on the same coolmist for a while now... it's a vics 400
i drilled into them many times (killed about 8)
then i just wraped some duct tape around the hose, and stuffed it into the slot, then just taped around it... like cross hatch 2 pieces one way, then 2 pieces the other way... (repeat)
hasn't froze on me yet... (fingers crossed)

I use a cheapo vics cool mist. No, the high humidity hasn't shorted one out yet, but those silly inline switches on the cord don't last long. It only took a few months for both of them(I run two coolmists due to the large greenhouse) to get corroded enough to stop the unit from running. It's easy to cut them out and splice the cable back together. RR

use this one... if you can find a k-mart in ur area they have these. just get some high grade duct tape. and tape over the hole then cut small hole stick hose in. tape around....also tape around sides so water doesn't come out.
love these personally.... because you can buy the filters and swap them
