Coffee and cigarets <-------the movie!
Pi <--------freaky and very interesting/trippy
Waiting for godot <------best movie ever when tripping im sure( even though I have never watched more that 30 min. of any movie while tripping). Possibly one of Beckett's very best works. Trippy is an understatement.
None of these movies are like fantasia, and are likely not like any movies you have ever seen. Top notch film making. Trippy as can be. Coffee and cigarets would be hard to watch if you were not paying attention(there would be no reason to watch it). All three of these movies are a mind fuck. Waiting for godot is the most interesting and trippy movie I have ever seen.

The wall by floyd is one hell of a cool "movie".
These are all common movies that are considered to be trippy.
If you want a VERY good movie that will twist your mind just look to my above post.
Fear and loathing certainly is funny and trippy. The Wall is one hell of a funky and elongated music video. Fantasia sure does have some great music and good visuals.
For an intellectual film that blows most of the common trippy movies out of the water, just try waiting for godot. You dont have to watch it while tripping to understasnd why it is one of the trippiest movies ever, due to the content.
Did I mention coffee and cigarets? Oh Ya, I did.........

THE DOORS, 1991 Oliver Stone... If you have never seen it before... Drop about 5 hits of good cid, chill with some friends till you start to feel it come up and hit the play button.... If you time it just right your peak will start to begin in the desert scene (about 15 or 20 minutes into the movie)

The Holy Mountain by Alexander Jordorosky.
Trippiest movie I have ever seen, the whole cast supposedly underwent a month long training involving lots of magic mushrooms. It was filmed in Mexico so it was cheaper and they were allowed to do more thing than in your average film.
The first scene is with Jesus(or the thief, he looks just like Jesus but is never called that) lighting up a blunt sized spliff and handing it to a man with no legs. Then it proceeds to an Aztec invasion enacted by live frogs. At one point Jesus gets clubbed by romans and they start making molds of him, Jesus freaks out and starts eating some of them. Then Jesus's poop is transformed into the philosopher's stone while abstract naked women dance around. Like I said, trippy as can be. Really hardcore stuff, I don't know if many people could handle themselves while watching this movie.
You can get it off Ebay, but don't get the editied version. You want the whole thing, not something cut to tone the nudity level down.

Just ate a couple grams last night and had a blast watching The Big Lebowski. I think trippy movies like fear and loathing and some of the others listed above are best watched high. When trippin, regular funny movies are the best.

For the brave:
Tetsuo the Iron Man - directed by Shinya Tsukamoto.
Wikipedia - Synopsis:
The film opens with a man (called only "the man", or sometimes the "Metals Fetishist") tearing open a massive gash in his leg and shoving in a piece of scrap metal. Upon seeing maggots festering in the wound, he screams, runs out into the street, and is hit by a car. The driver of the car (cult actor Taguchi Tomorowo) tries to cover up the mess by dumping the body into a ravine, but the dead man comes back to haunt him -- by forcing his body to gradually metamorphose into a walking pile of scrap metal.
In one of the film's most controversial sequences, the man discovers his penis has mutated into a gargantuan power drill, and his girlfriend willingly copulates to death upon it.

The Big Lebowski -- definitely my desert island film.
Not one of my favorite films of all time, but if I had to choose one film to take with me to a desert island that I could watch over and over ... that would be it.

Ah, I just want to add: guys ... if you want a laugh, check out a show called Garth Marenghi's Darkplace (see link below).
The torrents can be located easily -- certainly worth the download!
Have a smoke or whatever before watching and satisfaction guaranteed.

I agree with whomever said Baraka. That movie could be very VERY emotional though. It was for me after a few decent sized bowls of dank.
