Help ! Cobweb mold is making me look like a beginner.

hi there. i am not a newbie at cultivation (yet i would never consider myself an expert as there is always so much to learn). i have had fairly high rates of success with pf style cakes, moved onto to casing sliced cakes. then did OK with manure substrates and grain substrates. i had some contamination at times as does any home cultivator but it was an acceptable rate. i do use a good quality sterilizer and have been working in front of a flow hood for some time now (i rarely have contams within jars or bags during incubation), incubation is not a problem. right now though I am going through one my worst periods that I have ever experienced as a cultivator. Cob web mold is killing my caseings and over the past month or so I am losing almost everthing to it. i am searching for help here and just joined this forum. let me provide a little more info and maybe someone can help. i sterilize my casings, sometimes using vermic/coco and more often using vermic/peat. in front of the flow hood i spray my trays with alcohol, let them dry, then add substrate and casing. after covering with tin foil, i send the trays back to an 80 degree container. after 4/5 days i send them to fruiting chambers. i have noticed cob web mold even at this time then on some trays a few days after they are in their fruiting chamber. Stamets book says cob web mold is mostly airborne. my set up is in an old basement and i know there is mold present but i never had such a problem with this until now. a few trich contams here and there and an occasional cob web contam, but that was it. now cob web is getting about 9 out of every 10 trays. yikes !! - i thought i was improving my cultivating and now i am having thoughts of giving it up (there are so many hours of time and subtrate product down the drain this past couple months), it really has me down. here are a few things that i am planning to do to try to resolve the problem, take a look at these, and let me know if this is the correct approach or please add any suggestions. 1. i put an air purifier (one that is able to capture mold spores) in the room, it will run constantly. 2. in addition to spraying my trays with alcohol, i was thinking of microwaving them as well. 3. the basement is practically sealed and the air is somewhat stagnant, the new purifer will move some air but should I open a window down there? 4. I was also going to try the 'spray the crap out of the air with disinfectant technique' before working down there. help and thanks, f
