would you think wormwood or feverfew soaking in water or w/e and sprayed on would do it?
also what are the dangers of smoking leaf or extract that had soap on it ???lol

Well, with any pesticides there are assumed risks. There are also judgement calls though. Many purchased pesticides have recommendations for how long you can use them before harvest. A simple soap wash, however, should not be a problem, pending you rinse the plant off well.
On the other hand, my animal soap idea might need some fine-tuning. I mean the products must be relatively safe if you can use them on pets, as pets lick themselves all the time. Smoking can bring a new risk, but once again its a judgement call. If the sollution gets rid of the pest then I believe it is wise to just push back the harvest, and besides, if you just had a big pest problem the plant is probably gonna need some recovery time anyway.

Oh crap...completely misread and ignored your first question.
From what I understand, wormwood is poisonous to just about all plants, but itself. I've seen a lot of recommendations to grow it away from all other species, so the toxins from the plant don't get into other root systems. Feverfew, I don't know much about.
