Well, with any pesticides there are assumed risks. There are also judgement calls though. Many purchased pesticides have recommendations for how long you can use them before harvest. A simple soap wash, however, should not be a problem, pending you rinse the plant off well.

On the other hand, my animal soap idea might need some fine-tuning. I mean the products must be relatively safe if you can use them on pets, as pets lick themselves all the time. Smoking can bring a new risk, but once again its a judgement call. If the sollution gets rid of the pest then I believe it is wise to just push back the harvest, and besides, if you just had a big pest problem the plant is probably gonna need some recovery time anyway.

This is quite possibly the easiest way to get something free on the internet. When asked which offer(yea, just 1) you will complete, you want to choose video professor. You can get a full refund on shipping and everything. Once five people (don't even have to know them) complete the offer as well...you get an IPod. I sh*t you not.

Oh crap...completely misread and ignored your first question.

From what I understand, wormwood is poisonous to just about all plants, but itself. I've seen a lot of recommendations to grow it away from all other species, so the toxins from the plant don't get into other root systems. Feverfew, I don't know much about.
