Fuck that. No one knows what the fuck is going on. So there is no right point.

Truth is what we're all looking at. But since we can't all stand in the same place, there's no way we can see it the same way. Time and space. Our endless enemies.

All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake. -Erik Davis

"Truth is not only dangerous but neither singular nor definitive--that 'reality' is a dynamic and daimonic process, closer to the multi-latticed meanings implied by music or art than the confident postulates of science..." ---Daniel Pinchbeck

I'm not sure what you mean by 'stop 2012'?
If massive cataclysm were to occur I'm not sure we'd be able to predict it and stop it. Maybe we could, I suppose it depends on what we believe we can do. It could be that the only apocalypse we experience is the end of this era of psychologial tyranny.
We can't know where we are if we don't know where we've been. I think Michael's work is to say "Hey, look at all this earth shattering information that's not being talked about in any mainstream "schools"..why is that?"
Then it's up to us to put the pieces together, or whatever. One man has no hope other than to pass along the info the next. I think it's all about unrestrained dissemination of information to facilitate awakening which then stimulates individual action. regarding 2012 specifically it seems like he's trying to get people to better understand what is going on, if anything. We haven't seemed to figure out how to stop the earth from going on it's path through the galaxy...
The Mayans seem to have understood the larger galactic cycle. As we call one orbit around the sun one year, there are "years" all the way up the galactic scale, complete with "seasons" if you will. 2012 could be marking a "galactic equinox" or something.
