is there anyone who knwos of any info on mushrooms grown in the mid-west?

i have serisouly looked everywhere online and can not find a thing.

i know several people who say theyve seen them and more who have siad they picked em and tripped.

we have several pastures with cattle and horses, and tons of woodlands.
so i think theres got to be something grownin.. its very humid here and the temp is just right.

does ANYONE have ANY information on shrooms in KS?

did you try searching shroomery? theres tons of stuff on here like that. you cant tell me that there is nothing on google if you search "mushrooms of the midwest" or "midwest cubenisis hunting"

Please try a search posts or something.

There has been a lot of discussion on this subject in here already.

Make sure to change the default date range to more than a month.

These kinds of posts are against the rules, because they clutter the boards all up.

In the midwest your best bet would be Panaeolus subbalteatus , found in horse manure. They are fairly easy to ID if you know what they look like. Remember tho many other mushrooms may grow side by side with pan subbs so only pick the ones you are sure of.
