Stinky poo after pasturization!!!!
    #5759548 - 06/17/06 01:11 AM (17 years, 7 months ago)

I have a smelly poo problem.... stinks pretty bad.
It smelled bad after pasturizing with pillowcase method and it smells really bad now.... I had it in an airtight container for 2 days and just transferred it to a terrarium in the dark with fresh air exchange, hoping it will get better. BTW I spawned shortly after the poo cooled.

that could be your flaw having it air tight for 2 days, the micro organisms in the paz poo needs gas exchange.

It also probably wasn't properly aged. Field aged, rain leached, and sun dried horse manure that has been rehydrated and pasteurized will have little or no smell.

I have worked with stinky poo before and it still yielded the same results the most important thing is leeching and pasteurizing, to kill bad bacteria, but you cant really change a fact of life, shit stinks, so if you got to work with it, then wear a mask. But i dont think the smell will hurt the good growth, as long as you pasteurized it.
