achieving ego loss easily

For experienced trippers, how often/frequently do you achieve ego loss? It seems that every time i trip now, it comes pretty easily. My experience is more with LSD , because I do it much more frequently than mushrooms, but mushrooms too. What about yall; is this "normal"?

90% of my trips work that way. The other 10% is the first many times I used hallucinogens.

I dont think thats normal. I do think some people can get a bit more into the more amazing aspects of hallucinogens than others for various reasons.

I am also someone who would rather not define ego loss by the "level system".

I believe to reach total ego loss is a process within a trip and it can get harder or easier each time you trip. If you take just about any amount I think you can loose some pretty major fractions of your ego.
To loose it entirely, thats a different story.

Ego loss is a shady term. It doesnt mean much to me.

I think that tripping becomes most interesting when you are not concerned with yourself but you are still an able mind where you can become one with the nether regions of a trip. To be able to communicate and receive the information that can be found there as if it belonged to you all along..
Thats one form of ego loss.

Its all in your mind, some people can achieve ego loss at very low doses...

Happened to me one time (mostly because I'm an arrogant ass hole  )
Maybe it was cause I watched my self in the mirror for about an hour. Mh... I never had any problems like this again even though I still watch my self in the mirror sometimes when I'm tripping.

Ego loss has nothing to do with tripping for me. Its a mindset, and while tripping can help, I can get to that mindset just as easily through meditation. Honestly, if my goal is ego loss, it will happen, no matter what the dose. I dont know about everyone else though...I just really dont have much of a problem letting go.

This all came about after a few horrible trips a few years back that really wrecked my conscious for a while. I was broken...completely. But eventually came back together with a better understanding of myself, life, and the universe. This isnt something that happens in one trip.

Ego loss can be wonderful, but really, if thats the only reason you are tripping you are missing out. Just like those that only trip to be fucked up. Tripping can be a wonderful thing, just dont have expectations...or better yet, dont put the drug in a "box"

I really suck at letting go. Im too into myself I think. I look back at trips and see myself just holding onto "I" and not letting go. Perhaps the main reason why Im so scared to trip again.

I can be sober and have extreme ego loss. Not fun in high levels.
