These pics were taken over the last week. Just thought I would share:
Some Amanitas found in a parking lot (Amanita Pantherina?)

Agaricus in the same Parking lot:

Random patch about 5 feet from the Agaricus:

Agaricus Agustus(?) found today. Can anyone out there confirm this ID? Found growing up through deep beauty bark, underneath pine tree. Gills are off-white. Veil present and still attatched. Didn't do a sporeprint (sorry). Odor, cap could be described as almondy, stem just smells like mushroom.

Following were all found in semi-old growth just outside of Bellingham: No clue what these tiny guys are, didn't really try to identify as I was on the hunt for Oysters"

I thought this was pretty cool:

I hadn't found any oysters at all, then suddenly there were about five trees all within about 50 feet of eachother. Too bad I wasn't there a few days earlier as they were starting to dry up a little. (It's also too bad I'm not 12 feet tall):
This lone mushroom was neat. no clue what it is:

I hope you all enjoyed the pics! -DD

The tree conks look like fomotopsis pinicola, the red belted polypore. It rained like hell in the northern cascades nearly all day today. We flew up to orcas island this morning, then back again this afternoon. It was raining the whole time once you get east of the foothills. Just wait a few days and go back. The oysters are everywhere. A really good picking spot is the foss river road off highway 2 between everett and stevens pass. It's just past sultan, if memory serves me correctly. You'll find oyster mushrooms everywhere there. RR
