Unfourtunatly I can't get pics but I'll describe as best I can. I found these while walking in my yard today.
Cap approximatly 1.5 cm across. cinnamon brown that gets darker towards the center with a darker band right before the edge. Some of them have a bowl shapped and others are almost flat with a slight downward curve towards the edge. Umbonate. No fringes or any other distinguishing features on the edge. A bit moist to the touch. Smooth.
No distinctive odor. No distinctive taste when I sampled a very small portion of the cap.
The gills are very light tan to white and curve upwards before attaching to the stem. No spore print has fallen yet but I see small black dots on the gills.
The stem comes out of the center of the cap and is quite thin. It is dark brown but it gets lighter towards the cap and hollow but is filled with a little bit of clear liquid. It is the same width all the way up and down. the skin is think to the touch and just as moist as the cap (which isn't too moist).
I found these in my yard in small groups of about 4 that were spread out in an area that was about 3 square yards.
Tell me if you need any more info, thanks.

Great effort on the descriptions.....different mushrooms can have that ring around the top edge like Panaeolus or something deadly......maybe place a bowl on shroom for print to reduce air flow.....this can speed up the print....what was it growing on ....grass, wood chips, stump, compost, leaves, out of gravel, dirt, etc.?
Get a picture?
