I know of people working on the shamanic path that claim to have contact with outside entities. I don't know if anyone knows for sure the answer to your question. :confused:

i think that your yoga teacher has his understanding of the non physical realms out of wack, in all honesty i believe in non physical/inorganic beings that exist, and i also believe shamans do contact them, im studying shamanism right now and i have had (what i believe) was some limited contact with one nonphysical being but these things take a long time to set up

even if your yoga teacher is right, the subconscious is connected to the 'web' so to speak, and knows infinitely more than the conscious mind, so it is still a great way to gain information from other realms or levels of thought i suppose.

ne way just my pov

I think similar to Gus. At the base level, it doesn't matter, if the spirits are inside or outside, because they are both. inside and outside, at the same time. You receive them always from inside, but they might or could or can be representations of something outside.
The spiritual worlds' borders are a bit different then the physical ones, as I see it.
