Anyone use the Z-strain?

I just inoculated 11 jars with the so called Z-strain, anyone with experience cultivating this strain is invited to please tell me some about it, they are in PF style jars in an incubator set at 83deg far.
July 7,8,9 I'll be gone from home,(thats 3+ weeks from now), assuming that all goes well in the jars, can I wait that long to birth them? Of course I dont want to birth them until I get home so that I can watch everything.
Any respsonse is appreciated

if they're colonized before you leave, stick them in the refrigerator. you can put off birthing for weeks or even months if they're kept under refrigeration. once they get back up to room temps they'll take right up where they left off. if they're a little on the slow side and just reaching 100% colonization around the time you have to leave, no harm done in letting them sit at room temp a few days longer either.

No shit!! So if I think that they're ready to birth say on the 5th or 6th right before I leave I can just toss'em in the fridge till I get back on the 9th or 10th, and just birth them right into the fruiting chamber after they get up to room temp?

yep, exactly. you don't have to specifically wait for them to get to room temp, you can stick them in the FC cold and they'll warm up in no time in there. you'll probably want to give them a dunk though. quickest and easiest way being to go buy yourself another set of lids (so there's no holes in them). scrape out your dry verm layer, then fill the jar with water. new lid on tight, and back into the fridge for 24h so they can soak up the moisture. the trick there is to do the dunk when you're ready to put them in the FC... so refrigerate them dry as is for whatever length of time beforehand, then when its time to use do the dunk then into the FC.

I think you need 50 posts or something to read some parts of the site. I'm not sure?
click on the little picture link under my name and you can see some shrooms and the Z's growing. potency was pretty good. Me and a friend had 4 dry grams each and shit started getting very weird. we tried to watch TV at one stage and it was imposable. we could not understand what people were saying and their faces kept on morphing

O.K. creamcorn, THIS IS GOOD SHIT!!! I know I'm a total newbie at this, and I'm sure this is common knowledge for everyone else, but not for me:).
That puts that to rest for me, as far as what to do if I have to. With any luck maybe I can get a flush well before I have to go, oh whatever I'm fantacizing agian:).
What about that Z-stain?
