This is kind of drawn out but i've got a good point, or atleast one i've never heard anyone point out directly.
I've been doing DXM for a while now... i've never done more than a threshold amount of Mushrooms and never done acid (im sorta young), but I did dex my ass off. but while i was on dex i felt i had already experienced enough of "the experience" to where i was in contact with a lot of information and definately in over my head.
but then about a month ago i got some mushrooms, aboot 3 grams i think, i just know it was enough for solid trippin... it was totally not what i was expecting. It was comparable to dxm but on a different level...
dxm physically strips away the confines of physical perception and allows your brain to rapidfire the resulting ideas and images, which is why you have so many CEVs. It explains nothing in human terms, it simply shows you how things "are" in the universe and says 'deal with it, meat puppet..' music sounds fake, the world around you looks plastic, it's uncomfortable to even open your eyes..
its easy to use a terence mckenna equation to explain how this compares to shrooms. He stresses a lot the origin of the experience varying from drug to drug. I think what he's saying is that mushrooms do what they do because they come directly from the earth, therefore they 'know' about the origins of earth, humans etc (i explained this poorly but if you read him than you know what i'm talking about...). He even says Ayahuasca is totally different, simply because there's a person there to mix the ingredients there and that person's 'karma' or intent or whatever is evident in the experience, in the form of feeling more empathy or understanding towards humans. acid is also more self-oriented/introspective than mushrooms because it's cooked up in a lab. this is kind of far out there in assumptions, but really what else explains this? that bein said, dxm is nothing but an obscure chemical of some sort made in a lab somewhere sometime in the past 20 years. it is a total alien. thats why the experience is what it is... some people go as far as alien contact... (check this shit: the dxm trip = aliens, apparently )
eh my point is, mushrooms allowed me to analyze my collective dxm knowledge in human terms. I've really been fucking out of it for a while because of the questions in my head. DXM would say something bizarre like 'a numb eternity apple-bobbing crumb duck crystals' and mushrooms would break down the language and allow me to look at what the words actually >mean< in the context of my life.
a specific example is once i was trippin and i two shapes, and i had the thought, 'these two shapes are the meaning of life..." i drew them in a notebook and of course when i came down i was fucked. it was a triangle with no base (more like two lines slowly converging) with a square above it. it made sence still abstractly but i could in no way put it into language. i had some gnarly thoughts about how this could relate to pyramids, but that was a waste too.
ok THEN, on mushrooms, i actually broke this shit down. i looked at what the 'intent' of the shapes were, in themselves. there had to be a reason. i thought about what they could mean in human terms, the way a square could represent stability and a circle represents chaos, or incalculability.
ok, here are the goods, keep in mind that i had not yet read terence mckenna or heard about novelty theory until after the shrooms. the shapes were obviously a symbol of novelty theory, not just in the world but in my own life also. the base is iiinnfinaate, but there is a point when it ends, the point of convergence, and after that, there is a perfectly harmonius figure, the square, the transcendental motherfucking object, bitches. not saying the transcendental object is a square, just the square represented this.
well i found this incredibly gnarly and worth getting out, i had more to say but temporarily forgot. thanks for readin this far anyways peace

Keep up the good work, and take care of your brain.
You are a pretty decent biocomputer, and your programs seem stable.
