Id i think there active.

Heres some pics of them.









They were found in healthy green grass with wet soil in new york it was about 70 degrees out. Spore prints came out black...they brused either blue or dark brown i couldnt tell but i did notice a small shade of blue around the cap and the end of the stem.

Those are Panaoleus for sure, but, they are not an active species...or from what I could tell.

I dunno angryshroom, some of them could be Pan. semiovatus, but I've been finding that a lot of the Pan. subbs look this way on the cap as the weather dries. There are evident rings in the first photo however.
Maybe a mixed group, anyone one else???

I suggest doing a search of Panaeolus species and trying to compare photos, seeing how the mushrooms you have there stack up to the characteristics of different species within the genus.
Oh, and you better take ay more photos of them NOW, cause those suckers 'll dry up quick!

yeh they dried already...:( but ill just pick more soon...do you think they could be active? keep in mind there was little to no blue bruising...but the spore print was black and they look like pan subbs WTFFF why do i always find the hard ones!!!blllluuuueeeeeeeeeeeeee
