Sticky topics a different color.
    #5754948 - 06/15/06 07:41 PM (17 years, 7 months ago)

I received an email from a member who was wondering if the font color of the sticky threads could be changed. I think that'd be an awesome idea for a few reasons:

1. If they were made an attention getting color, like red, maybe more of the newbs would actually read them.
2. People can tell where the new posts start without even having to read. Reading is a lot of work, you know.

What do you think admins?

i think they should be multi-colored, flash repeatedly and be at size 64 font so nobody ever misses them.

I think they should jump out through the screen and punch a newb in the face sometimes.

Haha, actually colored stickies might be a good idea.

I wonder if some people even actually read after they open the stickies sometimes though.

The colors may get people to see them more easily, but it's still up to them to actually open the thread and read.

ehhh...... i'd hate that...
how about a colored underline though? that won't be as obtrusive and still make'em stand out from the rest!
