Well went to the site and evrything is in japaneese. Could not find said species. HOwever it is a non-psychoative speices. I have some photos of about ten of the 88 non psychoactive species of psilocybe.

Listing those species which contain no chemical activity just confuses perspective pickers intheir identification of simple four to seven common species which are all most people bneed to know about.

Thanks for posting the site.

mj

Of course are you ware of the two volume mushroom iD books by Hongo. They show three of the Japanese psychoactive species.

No, actually it IS an active Psilocybe, here is the picture of Ps. fasciata...

Now I don't care who says what, the above species is 100% active, I can tell just by looking at it.

LK,

Hi LK,

Again an error in Identification. Psilocybe fasciata is actually Psilocybe venenata not Psilocybe fasciata as listed above. It is an old synonym for P. venenata but is know to Japanese as Psilocybe venenata.

Where did the picture come from?

Mj

Nice photograph
