What happens in it? I just see a bunch of troops moving, then it crashes.

The largest nuclear bomb ever detonated was the russian Tsar Bomba. It had an energy of 50 megatons; that's 3000 times larger than the bomb dropped on Hiroshima.
The Tsar Bomba could have caused third degree burns at a distance of 100km (62miles).
The Tsar Bomba mushroom cloud rose as high as 64 km (40 mi) above the ground.

They can easily make stronger/more bombs now if they want. No problem at all.
It's a scary and amazing way to visualize E=mc^2. Only 2kg matter is converted into energy in that largest atomic bomb.

Trinity and Beyond isn't about the science. It's a documantery about the tests. Many explosions and the results... Like the movie you posted, but better quality and 90min long.

It is possible to make a rocket for such a large bomb. I think the Ariana 5 can ship it worldwide.
And a boeing 747 can ship 4 of those bombs....

the whole idea of having bombs is rediculous becuase everyone would see them on radar. even if it was not INSANE to try and blow up half the world beofre you get blown up, that wouldn't happen cuz all the counter-strike missles would be fired and en-route before the first one landed. 700 tests by the united states alone, for a technology that wont be used. insanity. these people make decisions. i wonder how many insane people in insane asylums would choose to blow up plutonium probably alot less than the "sane" people.

Ah, the Tsar Bomba!
Here's the power of literally 1.000.000.000.000 hand grenades descending down on Nova Zembla:

At 50 megatons it simply is too large for this world. I do not mean the size: it weighed a mere 27 tons, containing 2 tons ($100.000's worth) of non-radioactive Lithium deuteride as a nuclear fuel. You could indeed build a rocket for it and as you see it was indeed aircraft-delivered.
It's too big in the size of its explosion. 50 megatons means so much TNT explosive that you'd need 10 million trucks to move it around.
The Tsar Bomba makes a nice small-size asteroid-buster though, ideal for quick and dirty space engineering. The biggest asteroid-buster we can probably build would be a 5 gigaton design, the thermonuclear device weighing a thousand tons. One such device would have as much engergy output, during the few microseconds of its explosion, as the ENTIRE sun. Aside from pulverizing just about any asteroid to stardust being scattered at 1.000km/sec it also is an energy pulse bound to turn some extraterrestrial SETI somewhere into a cage of excited monkeys
"Hi, we just sent out an energy pulse that blotted out the signal of our star. Do you want to communicate with us?"

the speck of dust to the right and below that "bitch" is evidently much more interesting. i try to put the bomb out of my mind, but i could think about the fact a piece of DUST exists (as far as i can tell it exists) a while and get happy. and think how much money they spent on that useless piece of propaganda, when that dust was waiting there to make everyone happy. seems like we were like "hmmmm we've made this huge bomb. how could we not bomb something with it?" boredom + ignorance + bombs = cold war

The music for that vid is freaking AWESOME!
isnt it deadly to look at the flash of a nuclear explosion? Those are gamma rays shooting right through your face. but w/e that was just a fission bomb right? arent Hydrogen bombs fission and fusion?
i think that it's great that we have this nuclear technology. Now, let's use it for space travel puhlease.
