when should i put on a cool white florescent fixture on for 12 hours...as soon as its fruiting in the chamber or when its beging to pin in the pint jars? as for air exchange in the fruiting chamber a fresh supply of air with a small fan will do the trick once a day and or should there be wholes on the sides at the top of the container?

what substrate are u using? or better yet. what tek? if ur using BFR then the pins should occur in the jars.. they should fully colonize the mycelium in the jar. then u have to take them out and put in the fruiting chamber. at that point u introduce light, lower co2 levels. and drop temp.
just fan the FC with the lid of the chamber
i had to change the line "if ur using BFR then the pins should occur in the jars"
to
"if ur using BFR then the pins shouldn't occur in the jars"

pins won't always occur in the jars. some strains are more likely to do so than others... you could be waiting a very long time if you wait for them. i know the pf-tek for simple minds says it and even shows pictures of it, but waiting for them to appear is a waste of time. (the tek isn't "wrong" but its not the best advice either, in mine and many others' opinions.) once the surface is 100% colonized give it another day or two to be certain the insides and top where you can't see are done as well, then dunk, and birth.
when birthing you want to initiate pinning by using all of your triggers at once. this is when you start giving them fresh air. this is where they experience a temp drop hopefully if you were incubating them at slightly higher than room temps. this is when you give them light. the more of these triggers you can control and impliment simultaneously, the more pins you will encourage... but if you "lack" somewhere in one of the triggers, its not the end of the world.
holes in the sides and top of your fruiting chamber is a good idea. stuff with polyfill to filter the air and keep humidity in. you can certainly suppliment them by fanning, but you don't need to take that literally and use an actual fan, simply cracking the lid and fanning them a few seconds with a paper plate or something a few times a day does the trick. no matter how you rig it, the idea is to get as much fresh air as possible without compromising your humidity levels. people get great results with just the polyfilled holes like in a monotub setup. other people get great results by using a PMP style fruiting chamber that has an air pump providing fresh air. larger setups use cool mist (impeller) humidifiers that fan moist air in on a constant basis. others yet use totally sealed chambers that they open and manually fan several (4-6) times a day. there's tons of ways to do it just remember that golden rule, as much fresh air as possible without sacrificing humidity. a hygrometer, even if not totally accurate, is a good tool when starting to help you get a feel for what happens to your humidity before and after fanning, misting, and so on.
