air exchange

If I used the plasic containers as my grow chamber and I put a couple of holes with filter covers in the containers would that be sufficient for air exchange. Or would it just be better to fan out the Co2 every couple of days.

i just read on some post that you can make a whole in the top and bottom of your container..the holes dont have to be that big...cover it with filter discs..or use some sort of filter material.....and use a vacum to suck the air out from the bottom...this allows fresh air in through the top and lets the co2 that stays closer to the bottom of you terrarium get sucked out......it sounds like a good idea...and seems like it would pose less of a real danger from contaminants that sometimes get into your terrarium when fanning...
im gonna give it a try actually...sounds cool...

Yeah i have seen the vaccum used before too.

I might do that when i build my new setup. :smile:
