Tight Fit

AFOF wanted to know, some of her rubbermaid containers were tight fitted on the lids but still had some play, able to wiggle. She would like to know if there is any way of ensure a tighter fit? Is there a possibility for contams or loss of humidity? Lastly, instead of using plexiglass, are the clear containers ok, allowing enough transparency?

you dont need a tight fit, or want it for that matter
