Going to the ER when sick?

I am really sick. I can't stop coughing, and I have a fever of 102.3 I just moved to California, and don't have a primary doctor yet, although I am insured. I called 19 doctors, and none of them can get me in before Friday. I have an important meeting tommorrow, and I feel sick as hell. Has anyone ever gone to the ER when sick? Will they treat me if I go?

look for somthing called a primary care center, they will be able to help you, and are somewhat cheaper than the er. still pricey though, but health is one of those invaluable things.

In such times as ours however, when there is too much order, too much m management, too much programming and control, it becomes the duty of superior men and women and women to fling their favorite monkey wrenches into the machinery. To relieve the repression of the human spirit, they must sow doubt and disruption" "People do it every day, they talk to themselves ... they see themselves as they'd like to be, they don't have the courage you have, to just run with it."

The fucking waiting room is a hell hole. I hope you're not in a big city because the base doctor-to-patient status on how sick you are. You might be sitting in that fucker for a while. I was in the waiting room once for 7 hours.

it's the same in small towns as well but even in big cities there are slow periods where you can be seen relatively fast

That would probably get me in some trouble. I ended up not staying after I was told there was a 4 hour wait. I only recently started my job, so I don't want to call off, but they know that I am legitimately sick. I may go tommorrow depending on how I feel.

102.3? great radio station, bad temperature. take two aspirin every four hours and drink water like a champ The aspirin knocks down the fever and the water helps your immune system Ya don't need emergency care for a fever unless you have no sweetheart to care for you And get some sleep! you should feel better soon, goon

Open the freezer up and stand there with the door open drinking ice cold ice water with more ice in it as much as possible, yes and aspirin. Hey I had a fever of 103 degrees once when I had the flu, I felt like I was hallucinating and hearing shit..and I thought I was going to need to go to the hospital..what sucked even more is my grandma was there visiting me helping me out, it made it suck worse. I think I was 12, fuck I think that was the last time I had a fever that high in my life.

My temperature has finally gone down. I'm down to 96.8, which is a little low, but that is okay.
