Unfortunately, yet another i.d... the shroom population in my area has gone wild, and ive already found around 8 different species, and damn kids picked all the liberty caps...im stuck with this mushie, which renders so many possible species:

Habitat: Found in soft, tender soil
Gills: Brown, close together.
Stem: White and hollow, pretty stiff
Cap: 3-5 inches in diameter, Tan color
Spore print: Currently in the process
Bruising: None indicated

This looks somewhat like a Pluteus cervinus...but i have warped views on things....Please help, In need of a good  :tongue2: (TRIP)

That does not look like anything active. Go find some more grass and collect some liberty caps before the kids do! haha.

I'm not really sure about that one.. I agree that it's not an active though.

Pluteus cervinus is found on wood or places with a lot of woody debris. I doubt that you have a Pluteus there.
The gills of Pluteus start out a whitish color and turn into a faint pinkish salmon color with age.
