Is your casing showing mycelial growth yet?? I'f your trying to initiate pinning than i think your humidity is too high. Casing needs around 70-80%humidity and lots of fresh air. Did you drop the temp to initiate pinning. Should be a five or ten degree drop or you can put in the frindge for a while. Anyway good luck, and dont take my advice to seriously becasue i have only cased about 5 times. Good luck and i'f you need clarification on anything just ask:)

is my double air pump enough for air exchange..i only have one casing in the terrarium....yeah...i dropped it from 82 degrees to 70 degrees....i just need to know about the air exchange.....

let me see if i understand correctly...you have two pint jars, ahich are filled with perlite and an air pump going into the jar in the wet perlite, right?

if so ,yes if you have a standard size terranium it will provie enogh OXYGEN, but what about the co2? this is the onlyy problem i see, is your co2.

i think im going to put two holes in my terrarium....one on top and one on bottom....then im gonna cover these holes with some filter discs...then instead of fanning im gonna hook a vacum up to the bottom hole...sucking the co2 out the bottom and sucking fresh air in through the top...

i read that somewhere here...i forget from where though
