Man it takes a long time to do all these pictures and descriptions, especially when you have to use ImageShack.

your pictures are all way too far away and too blurry.....cant move your hand whatsoever when taking a shot or set camera down on something or a cheap tripod also snap 10 times for each desired picture and keep the clear.....dont have to worry bout cost of film anymore.....need clear close-ups.....you dont have a spore of any of them ?

also need to number each set of pictures

your shroom on top is any number of several similiar species of Hygrocybe.......

your set 6th down next to the last is very distinct but cant tell enough from that pic.....

Hygrocybes as you can see are some of the most spectacular of all shrooms......how slimy is it ?

good work on the descriptions as it can take a lot of time and effort

Its not really that bad, just really smooth, its a very interesting picture. Are their any tricks to get your camera to focus better on the forground. Mine always focuses on the background.

Look for and turn on your Macro function.
If you dont have a Macro function get out in some natural light ..
I think the indoor lighting is killing yer pics..
A camera wont focus properly if your lighting is screwed up..

ya noticed the table is clearer......if theres any way you can get up close on the shroom which is what is needed anyway it will focus on that by eliminating the surroundings to focus on and set the camera down and line up a good shot in tha veiw then use timer that way disconnecting yourself from the camera and movement then as mentioned take multiple pics for each shot and delete the blurries.....another trick sometimes is put your hand in the shot to force the focus in close on the hand and many times the focus will stay there unless movement of camera refocuses again to other things..

Is the red one a possible active? I ask this because the stem bruises green (maybe that is a stupid assumption, idk). Its now like I would trip off it if it were, the was only 1 in its area, and none others to be found anywhere. It is truley a fascination specimen though.

Nothing looks active. The red one that bruises green is most likely Hygrocybe Conica. Not active and has reportedly killed 2 people in China.
