Okay i tripped on monday night but didnt have a scale to weigh in a dosage but i did trip very lightly... well, my first flush is in and what i have left from monday is 8 grams even. me and a friend tonight wanna be able to see visuals, is 3 grams each good enough or 4 or what does anyone recommend

Your tolerance probably hasn't gone down completely yet.
Do you and your friend feel confident? Are both of you experienced in psychedelics?

oh yeah... i juat thought 4 grams was way more then i took monday i bet i only took a gram or gram/ha;f if anything... i was gonna break the shrooms up in a glass of oj on an empty stomache tonight .. will oj help at all?

I haven't seen anything that proves OJ increases the effects.
Personally, I'd just split the 8 grams (note: I'm assuming you're talking about taking a strain of Cubensis).
It really depends on how strong you want it to be... I like a nice strong mushroom trip.
If you're new to mushrooms you may want to do something lower, although the visuals wont be as intricate or intense.

yeah if you have 8 grams id reccommend spliting it.. thatd be a slightly higher dose for a first time but itd make for a nice trip for sure. my first time i just ate them straight, had to gag them down because i dont like the taste. but the trip was more than worth it

Personally, I would recommend starting with 3+ grams each, and saving the rest for later in the evening. OJ is just an old wive's tale (an old wife on mushrooms  ). Anyone who has any scientific documentation on how it could possibly help, please post it. The only thing I can think of with Orange Juice is that it's acidic, and acidified water works better than regular water to extract the psiloc(yb)in, like when you're making tea.

tolerances are a bitch, just exercise and drink lots of water and you'll be fine... (before you trip, obviously).

OJ most definitely make the difference its the only way I'll trip vitamin c has a very profound effect on the body and it is very fast at doing that. Washing down mushrooms with OJ or mixing them up helps to put them in your body faster by moving the chemicals in mushrooms (including psilocin and psilocybin) via the OJs usual method while the effects of vitamin c lift your mood and help relax tension to make way for a brighter trip. Lemon juice lime juice etc also do the trip it depends on your tastes 4 grams you should be fine for visuals I eat 3.5-4 gr frequently and have very, very vivid crazy trips.
