Contams?
    #574581 - 03/09/02 09:18 PM (22 years, 11 months ago)

My jars of mycelium are growing very rapidly. The only problem is that there are what looks like water drops on certain parts of the mycelium.. They are little drops of water. Is this normal?......God I hope it is.

We had water droplets on the sides of our jars too. Our mycelium grew very rapidly also (3 jars completely colonized in 12 days). We birthed them tonight, and everything seems fine. MMGG says water droplets can cause the mycelium to become yellowish, but doesn't really say it's bad. Could the rapid growth cause the moisture? Or was our substrate too wet?
