The Iraqi prime minister apparantly had 5 minutes warning before Bush arrived at the door
I think that tells you pretty much all you need to know about the current situation in Iraq.

Even if the security situation were 90% under control do you think it would be wise to announce his visit so long as there are Jihadists with surface to air missiles around?
Anyway A state visit from the President of the United States to the leaders of the new Iraq government is a real boost for them. GO BUSH GO!

Think the Iraqi PM is happy about this?
I doubt it.
I'm sure he'd much rather Bush stay away and prevent even more accusations that he (The PM) is in Bush's back pocket.

Well, President Bush WAS in Iraq. By the time you hear about it, it's always "was".
I approve. Wish he did it more often. After wasting so many lives so he could get his little toy country, it's a shame he hardly ever goes out and plays with it.

Why couldn't some patriotic America loving secret serviceman leak this just in time to get bush shot.
Oh well, I guess it'd only makle him a martyr. There'd be redneck conservatives beating down the door to join up in "Thait thar Arhmee Nashunal Garde" to avenge the death of their god appointed leader.

Somebody give him a bomb sniffing dog and have him look for weapons of mass destruction while he's there.

leaders are pussies these days. leaders should be on the front lines or at least on the battlefield.
no wonder why cocksmokers like bush are so ready to go to war. they have plenty of pawns and distance.
