Pete and Pete.
While Are You Afraid Of The Dark had it's moments, Pete and Pete had this uncanny knack for maintaining a certain "surreality feel" that I couldn't quite put my finger on.
Also, this was never on Snick, but does anyone remember the show, "Eerie Indiana"? I liked that one a lot better than Are You Afraid of the Dark...

PEte and pete wins times 10. pete and pete was great till the day it went off the air.
Areyou afraid of the dark attempted to innovate with new cast member, and started to suck, plus it wasnt always that scary (except the zebo episode, anyone remember? scary shit!)

I kinda liked that one where the guy put kids in a dark room where their worst fears would attack them, so he could capture the fears in a liquid form.
I think he fed them some food or drink beforehand too. He probably dosed them, so they were tripping balls in that sensory deprivation room.

LSD is liquid fear
I haven't seen pete and pete in ages, but my girlfriend still rants about it from time to time. I think we're just gonna buy every old Nick show boxset avaliable.
Ever made love to the rugrats? Its magical.

Pete and Pete for sure!

Pete and Pete was the bomb. It managed to capture a since of surealism, and mystery unique to the childhood experience. I don't think i would watch it at this point in life. Watching things you enjoyed as a child has a way of ruining the memory. Like "wtf how could anyone enjoy this" Lion King is dead to me now.

Agreed. But then, I never liked The Lion King. Infact, that was the first disney movie that I really disliked.
Aladdin, on the other hand, is still totally awesome to this day.

ROFL... fuck man, you didn't look 16 two years ago! I would have pegged you at 19-20.
Well I hope you find a way, but if not, there is always next year.

What is the show....
With the kids in the camp....
And the fat kid who eats everything...
And the long-haired greasy kid...
You know what I mean...
What is it?
