"Delusional I believed I can cure it all for you, dear Coax or trick or drive or drag the demons from you Make it right for you sleeping beauty Truly thought I can magically heal you
You're far beyond a visible sign of your awakening I'm failing miserably to rescue you
Sleeping Beauty
Drunk on ego Truly thought I could make it right If I kissed you one more time to Help you face the nightmare But you're far too poisoned for me Such a fool to think that I can wake you from your slumber That I could actually heal you..
Sleeping Beauty Poisoned and hopeless You're far beyond a visible sign of your awakening Failing miserably to find a way to comfort you
Far beyond a visible sign of your awakening And hiding from some poisoned memory
Poisoned and hopeless Sleeping Beauty"
A Perfect Circle - Sleeping Beauty
I had a friend once, for whom I thought I could heal, just like in this song. But this relationship was giving me too much pain, too much poison for me to handle. So I moved away from this friend to heal the scars he left behind. What do you do when you show love to someone and it just doesn't work? When no matter how hard you try, how patient you are, the other person is just far too frightened to accept healing? Instead you turn into a prey... I learned a lesson though, was too pushy throwing the obvious, only to notice too late that I had a wrong approach. When with wolves, do as wolves do, only with purest intentions... some people can't be healed unless you show them teeth at first (no matter how superficial those teeth are). I was shown teeth (big bad fangs actually) in the past by someone, and this helped me grow. He'd mend my wounds for a moment only to open them again and throw me back into the pit I've been trying to crawl out of. A great teacher indeed, though the most important thing he did... he showed me I can trust him. He showed me love, never fear, it was I who used to misinterpret this love for fear manipulation time and time again. Eventually I got it right. "No one is innocent", don't give up
peace

Was it Swami, the great teacher, that is?
 Peace.

No, not Swami Though the shroomery itself has been (and still is) a great teacher

We are not here to fix, save, liberate others IMO. (That's not really what we're trying to do anyway. ) We are here to live out our lives and make the most of that challenge.

Then that's your challenge, to find the most or best beer and understand yourself through that. Good luck on your path.

We should be here to fix and heal..
otherwise we are just wasting time. As America has shown us we can only be as healthy as our (depraved) society. All the pour souls corrupted and not knowing there is a better way than monotony and gluttony.
Good post. Is this influenced by what I have said?
Are all of Tool's teeth benevolent?

As I said in another post to you. Shoulds are not always relevant.

i dunno.
if you make the should a did...... the shroomery can be used in many ways and how you use it impacts its function.

'Shoulds' are relevant, of course. One has simply to distinguish from internal and external 'shoulds'.

The challenge is to find quality fresh non-USA formaldehyde ridden beer at a fair price. I believe Rite Aid has more than met the challenge with St. Pauli Girl 12 packs nice and cold and fresh at a more than fair price of $ 8.99. Good German beer. We call them Bitches.

He called it 'St Paulina'
He was all like, "Dude, how come I'm not drunk of this St Paulina?"
I was laughing for hours.

Everyone has a purpose IMO, and it's up to each individual to determine that purpose for him/her self. If someone cries out for help, no matter how faint that cry might be, I'll try my best.
