I just saw that last section between commercial breaks and it is quite interesting. They actually mentioned psilocybin a few times. The Pete Townshend interview was cool; I've never heard him talk in-depth about drugs before.

I'm pretty interested in episode four, and what it has to say about "the reprise of '60s psychedelics".
BTW, the episodes will air at 9:00 PM and 1:00 AM daily, with a new one each day.

Yea, I must say, I was pleasantly surprised with the seemingly pro-choice stance on drug use. While they didn't come out and say "Drugs are good", they definitely presented the arguement in a well thoughtout and fair manner.
The guy that was talking Pete Torgasov or whatever his name is, is the author of a book called "Can't find my way home: The effect of drugs on the American Culture between 1945-2000", is very good. It's a tomb, but I'm currently hacking through it and I recommend it to any enthusiasts on drug history/cutlural influence. Rick Doblin also had a few tidbits of info which I found to be well done. I even watched this with my parents who are strictly anti-drug, despite having grown up in this era. I liked the small biopic on Owsley and Ken Kesey and I cannot wait for the other parts of this series. Well done Vh1. Glad I was able to let you guys know about this so you got to see it!.
Peace.

Yeah- I've found VH1 to be much more pro-drugs when it all comes down to it than MTV(any). Odd....

I'm watching it right now. Its put together pretty well and is better than most other drug documentaries that I've seen.

I like how they present the alternating views of Kesey and Leary. Leary comes across as a two-bit huckster, and Kesey shows real insight into the experience and what it means to people. Leary is just so wrapped up in his pseudo-scientific bullshit...
