Ok now, don't hate me, but I do really dislike the photos i get with this camera. No matter how many I take, the pictures just come out blurry. I am definitely invest in a new camera if I am going to continue this hunting. But I am moveing to MT in a few days, and I don't really know what if any actives they have their. I will research it.
But in the meantime.
Try to work with me on the pics.
Habitat ~ Ground, short grassy area.
Gills ~ Open and straight.
Stem ~ long wormlike, easily bendable, brown
Cap ~ Darker Brown, Smooth, turned lighter brown almost 1-2 hours after picked. ¾" in diameter.
Spore Print ~ printing now
Bruising ~ bruises darker brown.

Its the dark one in the pictures.

This one, I highly doubt is active, but thats not why I picked it. I found interesting features about it, and am just curious if anyone could figure it out.
It grew by itself, didn't find any others near it.
Habitat ~ ground, under tree, short grassy area, with pine needles around it.
Gills ~ Pink, with almost a purple hue.
Stem ~ very short, thick, and hollow, white in color
Cap ~ a more vibrant light brown, almost an orange. Very small in size, about ¼" in diameter.
Spore Print ~ printing now
Bruising ~ none
Its the brownish/orange one in the pictures

The larger one is probably Panaeolus foenisecii. The print will probably be brown. Inactive.
The little one might be Galerina autumnalis. http://www.mykoweb.com/CAF/photos/Galerina_autumnalis(mgw-06).jpg Poisonous. But ya know... the pics aren't to sharp- hard to tell.

if the print came out black, would that mean a possible active?

For the larger one? Yes, maybe, hard to tell from the pics, so i can't say for sure. If the print is black, it is likely Panaeolus subbalteatus. It is mildy active- one little mushroom would be insignificant. You'd need a lot more, and like I said, hard to tell from the pics exactly what it is. Do a google photo search for the above mentioned species, and compare to the one you have.

Hey man to take photos try resting the camera on a stool or something if you dont have a tripod. You can also mess around with the camera settings - the one I was using had different shutter speed settings, the higher the better if your photos are too blurry.

I usually keep it on full speed, and 5mp Best.
This print is takeing a long time to come out, i think i won't be able to see it until tomorrow. If it doesn't print, i will go and get them. I only took 1 shroom, because i didn't feel it was necessary to destrow a colony over a possibility.
I will try to set the camera down and take pictures next time. thanx for the advice.
